Here is a little bit about us.

Brighton Sound System is run by myself, Billy Wood. I have been hiring sound equipment around Sussex since 2002. Over this time I have tailored my service to make it easy for people who don't neccessary have technical knowledge to get the music and sound right for their event. If you need advice just ask.

I run a small company which guarantees you a personal service. When you get in touch the chances are you will deal directly with me. Also more often than not it will be me who sets up the equipment for you. When it is not me, I employ technicians who have at least 3 years experience of live events.

The service provide by Brighton Sound System is organised to fit around you. Whenever possible the PA equipment is delivered and set up at a time convenient for you. The equipment is then collected at the end of the night or the next day depending on what is best for everyone.

You can relax during events I give full telephone support and call out service for any technical issues. I am also fully insured up to £5 million and all my equipment is PAT tested for safety.

Most of the work I do is providing PA equipment for weddings. It is rewarding helping people have a special day. Each wedding is a important personal occasion. I do what I can to make it all goes smoothly.

Some of the larger events I provided sound for in 2009 include Twenty20 Cricket at the Sussex County Ground to a 5000 audience and a Fenchurch fashion show.

You do not need to pay a deposit to secure the booking if you don't want to, however if a deposit would give you peace of mind you can. Usually I require payment a week before the event either by cheque or BACS.

For those that know the music scene in Brighton; I share a workshop where most of your amps get repaired and also have an involvement with the town's original white soundsystem.
