Are
you tired of low-grade speakers ruining the sound of your
favourite music? Shouldn't a DJ be in charge of what the tracks
sound like rather than the badly-maintained speaker stacks?
Help
is at hand…
At
the beginning of 2006, Brighton Soundsystem took delivery
of 6 Turbosound Aspect TA880h cabinets, 2x Turbosound LMS-D24
controllers, 6x Turbosound T25 amplifiers and a Turbosound
T45 amplifier. This goes on top of 16 Traction
Sound Zeus 3s bass cabinets.
At the beginning of this year, Brighton Soundsystem welcomed
the arrival of their brand spanking new 30Kw rig with Turbosound
Aspect and Traction
Sound Zeus 3s bass speakers - something that offers a
solution to the kind of difficulties and disappointments found
elsewhere. For the technically minded, the facts and figures
are listed below for comparisons and perusal, but in laymen's
terms this is a rig you will love - simple as that. Words
like 'shattering' have been used to describe how the low end
performs, with other ranges sound 'crystal clear' on top.
This
rig was set up for a purpose. Similar to the way Dilinja,
Lemon D and the Valve Soundsystem crew had to put their money
where their mouths were because no speakers could handle their
unique sound - Brighton Soundsystem went for it. Designed
by their in-house tech heads, the new system is built for
the appreciation of electronic music in the digital age, for
clarity and volume without the pain. The Aspect Series from
Turbosound which is incorporated in this rig (for the mid
top cabinets) is quickly becoming acknowledged worldwide as
the benchmark for a 21st Century set up while the groundbreaking
bass pressure supplied by the custom designed boxes is unique
to this Brighton Soundsystem rig. Another bonus for lovers
of bass is that this ground stacked set up will still be pushing
out low end frequencies at ear height - you know the crowd
are gonna love that. And, of course, the DJs are gonna love
the effect it has on the crowd.
Overall,
this versatile 30Kw soundsystem is so crisp and low in distortion
that musicians and DJs are free to express themselves without
unnecessary 'colouring' from substandard speakers. With this
set up Brighton Soundsystem is determined to provide the maximum
bass pressure and outstanding audio clarity will create an
added vibe with every crowd. ? Although the unique design
allows an attractive and discreet setup, the 140 decibel gives
enough headroom for crowds of 10,000 people. Dance music,
live bands and outdoor events are all within the scope of
this exciting new addition to the Brighton Soundsystem organization.
And despite their notoriously un-impress-able mindstate, sound
engineers will have their expectations exceeded by the quality
of the Aspects components.
