Brighton Sound System can help you with sound for your outdoor event. This does not just include PA for live shows. We have helped a wide variety of outdoor events, from providing PA systems for announcements at Village Fête through to music jingles at Twenty20 cricket.

The British weather always adds a bit of excitement when organising outdoor events. The PA equipment we hire for outdoor events is more tolerant to a bit of rain than most people think. We can provide waterproof covers for loudspeakers and gazebos for amps and mixing desks.

Noise control can be an important factor when thinking about ourdoor PA hire. For many events it is an essential part of the licencing requirements. We are happy to monitoring decible levels and keep within the limits set. We can also set up your outdoor PA to avoid disturbing the neighbours whilst allowing you to get the most sound at your event. This can be done with directional loudspeakers and Cardiod Bass Arrays. When hiring PA equipment for outdoor events people often think about power and generators. Obviously the easiest solution is run power from a nearby building. When this is not possible you will need a generator. From experience of running outdoor PA systems off generators we recomend having one that is twice as powerful as the sound system. For example a 2Kw sound system will need a 4KVa generator. It is also good to have lights and things on a seperate generator.
